STARTUPS will Identify and pursue all sources of funding options for local transportation improvements; Mobilize public and private support for transportation projects; Lobby all governmental entities (federal, state and local) regarding new enabling legislation and funding; Monitor and provide input to the Tampa Bay Partnership on transportation projects and priorities; and, Promote public education and awareness on transportation projects Monitor and provide leadership to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), and local governments on transportation issues.
